Application for Car and Motorcycle Parking Permits for Faculty, Staff, and Students for the Academic Year 2024-2025 Now Being Accepted.
Please proceed in accordance with the following instructions and inform your colleagues accordingly.
Instructions:
A. Based on the National Chengchi University Vehicle Management Regulations (as Attachment 1) and the National Chengchi University Parking Fee Standards (as Attachment 2).
B. The application for car and motorcycle parking permits for the academic year 2024-2025 is to be conducted online. The process is as follows:
a. Application Method: Please log in to iNCCU → NCCU Information System → Parking Permit Application for Car and Motorcycle.
b. To avoid overcrowding of the system due to a high number of simultaneous applicants, the application is to be staggered as follows (as Attachment 3):
1.Main Campus Cars:
(1) Faculty and staff applications accepted from June 1, 2024.
(2) Student applications accepted from August 1, 2024.
(3) Retiree and provider applications accepted in paper form from August 1, 2024.
2.Main Campus Motorcycles:
(1) Faculty, staff, and student applications accepted from August 1, 2024.
(2) Retiree applications accepted in paper form from August 1, 2024.
3.Dah Hsian Library Parking Lot Cars:
(1) Faculty and staff applications, applicable to class A parking permit, accepted from June 1, 2024.
(2) Student applications accepted online from August 1 to August 14, 2024. An online lottery drawing will be conducted on August 15, and system notification email of payment will be sent to the winners.
(3) Retiree applications accepted in paper form from August 1, 2024.
4. Da Xian Library Parking Lot Motorcycles:
(1) Faculty, staff, and student applications accepted from August 1, 2024.
(2) Retiree applications accepted in paper form from August 1, 2024.
(3) Non-affiliated individual applications accepted in paper form without time restriction.
c. Payment Methods:
1. Salary Deduction:
Faculty and staff who complete the application between June 1 and July 31, 2024, will have the parking permit fee directly deducted from their September salary. Contract personnel will have the fee deducted on September 25.
2. Online Payment:
Faculty and staff who did not complete the application by July 31, adjunct teachers, NSTC assistants, students, etc., are to pay online. After the online parking permit application is approved, a notification email (default NCCU mailbox) will be sent with instructions to download the payment slip and pay accordingly.
d. Fee Details (as Attachment 4):
1. Main Campus Cars:
(1) Class A parking permit NT$4,800; overnight parking additional fee NT$4,800, total NT$9,600.
(2) Class B parking permit NT$3,600; overnight parking additional fee NT$2,400, total NT$6,000.
(3) Class C parking permit NT$3,600; overnight parking additional fee NT$2,400, total NT$6,000.
(4) Class C1 parking permit NT$7,200.
(5) Class D parking permit NT$2,400.
(6) Retiree parking permit NT$7,200; overnight parking additional fee NT$3,600, total NT$10,800.
(7) Provider parking permit NT$12,000; overnight parking additional fee NT$12,000, total NT$24,000.
2. Main Campus Motorcycles: Class A and B motorcycle parking permits are free of charge currently.
3. Dah Hsian Library Cars:
(1) Faculty and staff parking permits processed as class A parking permits.
(2) Regular students parking permit NT$3,600; overnight parking additional fee NT$3,600, total NT$7,200. Parking in class D parking lot allowed.
(3) Retiree parking permit NT$6,000; overnight parking additional fee NT$6,000, total NT$12,000.
(4) Non-affiliated individual parking permit NT$3,500 per month (overnight parking included), total NT$42,000 for the entire academic year.
4. Dah Hsian Library Motorcycles:
(1) Faculty, staff, and student (including retiree) motorcycle parking permit NT$1,200 for the entire academic year.
(2) Non-affiliated individual motorcycle parking permit NT$300 per month, total NT$3,600 for the entire academic year.
e. Permit Collection Instructions:
1. The units whose faculty and staff complete the application by July 31 and have their salary deducted will be notified to collect parking permit collectively. The collection period is from the date of notification to September 30, during working hours from 09:00 to 12:00, and from 13:30 to 16:30. The units are to collect at the Security Office, and applicants are then to collect at their respective units.
2. Faculty and staff who do not complete the application by July 31, adjunct teachers and students are to collect their permit at the Cashier Section during working hours, from 09:00 to 12:00, and from 13:00 to 17:00, upon receiving a system notification email (default NCCU mailbox).
f. Usage Period:
1. The previous parking permits for academic year 2023-2024 can continue to be used until August 31, 2024, after which they will become invalid.
2. The main campus motorcycle parking permits for the academic year 2024-2025 will take effect from September 15, 2024 after the system update.
